MANUFACTURERS OF FIBREGLASS COLUMNS
Polylight Columns
Polylight belongs to the AB Zeta M&C S.L. group of companies, market leaders in manufacturing with fibreglass since 1989. But it wasn’t until 2008 that Polylight Columns was born with the first production line of fibreglass lighting columns.
Polylight Columns has an innovative production process of columns made of 100% Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) and, therefore, Class II dielectric. This implies that the user is fully protected against electrocution in the event of voltage overload. That is to say, our columns do not incorporate any type of metallic element.
Integral manufacturing with GRP ensures that the columns meet much higher quality standards and benefits compared to other types of materials currently used. Excellent characteristics, resistant to acids, saline and unfavourable environments.
These columns can be installed by means of bases with bolts or recessed. Polylight Columns have bases and doors entirely made of fibreglass, without the presence of metals, which guarantees their resistance to unfavourable environments.
Thanks to its manufacturing process, Polylight Columns makes GRP columns from 3 metres to 20 metres, with deformation class I, II and III. Our manufacturing process also allows us to make the poles with any diameter and conicity, thus adapting them to the needs of the client.
Polylight Columns currently has four main manufacturing lines according to their use: columns for public lighting, columns for photovoltaic panels, columns for medium and low voltage power lines and poles for telecommunications.

MAIN USES

Columns for street lighting
Columns for street lighting and autonomous lighting columns. Accessories for incorporating luminaires.

Columns for photovoltaic panels
Adaptation to the different accessories required by the project. Manufacturers of said accessories for their adaptation.

Columns for power lines
Adaptation of arms, supports, straps and crossheads on the column in GRP for the incorporation of different types of accessories.

Columns for telecommunications poles
Our high-pressure manufacturing process guarantees excellent mechanical properties, with increased workloads.

ADAPTATION AND SAFETY
The productive configuration of Polylight Columns favours high flexibility in its production, this being a unique competitive advantage when it comes to adapting to the needs or specific projects of business partners.
This great productive advantage allows changes and modifications to be made to bases, registration ports, accessories, etc … This means complete adaptation of products to the needs of the project is achieved. This requires the specialised commercial team working together with the R + D + I department and associates involved in it, thus ensuring an adaptation with total guarantees of integrity and safety of the product and correct installation.
The peace of mind of having a company with over 15 years’ experience in the sector.

SAFE AND STRONG COLUMNS
We have a technical department in charge of determining the optimal characteristics of each column to withstand the forces caused by the luminaires or accessories required by the client, guaranteeing that they withstand maximum wind speeds of 29 m / s with adequate safety factors.
Our columns have a surface finish in GEL-COAT, which gives them a smooth and perfect finish, excellent resistance against acids and saline environments, as well as great stability against light.
The door cover is also produced in GRP, adjusted and flush to the column. All our columns have IK10 certificates (maximum impact protection score) and IP66 (maximum protection score against dust and high pressure water jets, which guarantees the tightness of the column).
